About the event
Howard welcomes three more top comedians to the stage for the return of his hugely popular comedy club at Silsden Town Hall. Previous guests have included Nina Gilligan, Steve Royle and Jack Gleadow, among others. Each edition features a brand-new line-up of stand-up talent, bringing a mix of sharp humour, quick wit and unexpected moments. It’s the perfect night out for anyone who loves a good laugh - so grab your tickets, gather your friends and get ready for an evening of top-class comedy.
This edition features returnee Pete Selwood, Jacob Nussey and headliner Duncan Oakley. Duncan Oakley has been a musician since the age of six, has performed on the UK comedy circuit since 1999, appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, on BBC Radio 4 and at many summer festivals as well as starring in Beat24's feature film 'Frontman' and short film 'Read Between the Signs'.
Jacob Nussey is an up-and-coming comic on the Midlands circuit, unassumingly drawing in audiences by delivering sharp jokes and ill-fated anecdotes with clever punchlines.
Jacob started in 2019, but is already making waves, reaching the Semi-Finals of British Comedian of the Year 2021 and Semi-Finals of So You Think You’re Funny 2021. He’s hilarious and well worth seeing in person!
Pete Selwood returns to Howard's Comedy Club as an audience favourite. The Chester-based Yorkshire comedian is an excellent storyteller, making a serious impression on the circuit.
