Silsden Town Hall is located on Kirkgate, the main thoroughfare through the town. We are surrounded by many wonderful cafes, pubs, and restaurants. The park and popular duck pond are only a short walk from the building, and the three churches that face our building regularly host community activities.
Travel by Car
There is limited street parking available outside the Town Hall for time-restricted stays. Opposite the Town Hall, there is a paid car park operated by the council, with limited electric car charging spaces. This car park is free in the evening, if you're attending a late class or a live show, though we advise you check the car park terms as this may change. Further parking is available on Briggate, off Kirkgate, with additional paid parking beyond that. Silsden is only a short drive from Skipton, Ilkley, Keighley, and Haworth. It is less than a half-hour drive from Shipley, Otley, Gargrave and Colne.
Travel by Bus and Train
Silsden is connected by bus and train. The nearest train station is Steeton and Silsden, a twenty-minute walk from the venue. Trains run to Skipton, Bradford and Leeds, stopping at Keighley, Bingley, and all other stops on the Airedale line. Buses regularly run to Keighley and Ilkley from Elliott Street, just around the corner from the venue. The venue is also within a five-minute walk of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal.
Travel by Foot and Bike
We are lucky enough to be at the foot of the Yorkshire Dales, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and nestled in the Aire Valley. Silsden and its neighbouring villages are lovely places to walk and cycle. Where possible, we encourage visitors to help the environment by travelling on foot or by bike, and to embrace the stunning landscapes that define this part of our country.

Silsden Town Hall is an independent charity operated by trustees, volunteers, and a limited number of staff. We rely on grants, donations, and traded income to keep our doors open. Our small team would be delighted to hear from you and will respond as soon as they are able.
Please note that Silsden Town Hall is generally open between the hours of 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, and until early afternoon on Saturday unless hosting an evening event. The office is generally open from 10am to 2pm on weekdays, and may ocassionally close to facilitate staff holidays.
Accessibility
We are striving to make Silsden Town Hall a venue that is welcoming and accessible for all.
Our venue has a ramp to the front door, and a lift to the first floor, making the whole venue available with step-free access. This excludes a small raised seating area used for concerts.
There are accessible bathrooms and baby changing facilities on both floors.

We operate a carers scheme for our in-house culture programme, which allows accessible seating ticket holders to bring an accompanying adult to assist them without charge. For more information, please contact the venue.
